I was born and raised in Tonkawa, Oklahoma and started my career in 1960 at the age of 6, working for the local Veterinarian situated only blocks from my childhood home. I continued working with that Clinic until 1997.

I am a self-taught groomer, and attend educational seminars to enhance my skill levels in grooming and pet care. I belong to the International Society of Canine Cosmetology and I was certified as a MASTER GROOMER by the International Professional Groomers Association.

I've had my business in Blackwell since 1977 and continue grooming and boarding small animals.

I am owned by several poodles, and three parrots.
